The Collaborative of Leaders in Academia and Business (CoLAB) Principals luncheon was hosted by Partnership Board Chair Kathy Warden at Northrop Grumman’s headquarters.
During the session, more than 35 leaders, including presidents from both 4-year institutions and community colleges and leading employers represented on the Partnership Board, participated in a cross-sector dialogue. McKinsey & Co. Senior Partner Nora Gardner and Partner Brooke Weddle presented the State of the Regional Labor Market snapshot.
The key emphases of the event included McKinsey’s data on the latest regional labor market trends and insights, examples of effective regional employer and post-secondary partnerships, and a presentation on how the Employer Signaling System (ESS) leverages feedback from employer and educator partners to strengthen the region’s talent pipeline.
