About the Program
Next Level builds on the Greater Washington Partnership’s proven model of engaging Board partner employers and their companies to support high-potential founders. This tailored, relationship-driven program connects CEOs with senior C-suite leaders, investors, financial providers, and industry-specific professionals, offering unparalleled access to guidance, networks, and growth opportunities.
The cohort will focus on early-stage companies based in the region in emerging, high-growth sectors aligned with the Partnership’s regional economic growth priorities, including:
- Product-based technology (health tech, defense tech, financial tech, etc.)
- Life sciences
- Aerospace vehicles & defense
- Advanced manufacturing
Program Benefits
- Strategic Mentorship: 4-6 facilitated 1:1 meetings with investors, senior executives, and leaders from Board partner organizations.
- 1:1 Connections: Targeted introductions to major employers and investors for business development and partnership opportunities
- Pitch Competition
- Board-advised Masterclasses: Technical and strategic sessions on capital strategy, supply chain, hiring, pitching, and more

Program Timeline & Commitment
Next Level is a cohort-based accelerator running from March to June. The program is designed to be founder-friendly, with a mix of virtual and in-person sessions to maximize flexibility while still fostering meaningful connection. Participants should expect to engage in virtual masterclasses, mentorship sessions, and peer discussions. In-person programming will take place across the region and is strongly encouraged to maximize the value of the experience.
