The Partnership hosted Emerging Tech Talent (ETT) Scholarship awardees from leading universities across Maryland, DC and Virginia for a unique opportunity to hear tech career insights from expert panelists at some of the region’s top employers, like Amazon, Monumental Sports & Entertainment and Capital One. With our hosts at Amazon, ETT Scholarship students visited Arlington, Va.’s interactive Amazon Web Services (AWS) Skills Center and later received a private tour of Amazon HQ2.
The ETT Scholarship supports learners from underrepresented populations in the tech workforce by equipping them with skills for careers in technology, such as cybersecurity, data analytics, and software development. Since 2021, the Partnership has been thrilled to facilitate more than 390 awards of this scholarship, thanks to generous contributions from General Dynamics, Northrop Grumman and T. Rowe Price.
