Created in 2018, the Capital CoLAB (Collaborative of Leaders in Academia and Business) is an action-oriented partnership of employers and academic institutions that executes initiatives to develop the talent needed for the jobs of today and tomorrow.
The CoLAB focuses on three broad areas where academic institutions and businesses, along with government, can work together to strengthen the Capital Region’s economic performance:
Developing the talent and workforce the region needs now and in the future
Developing cutting-edge technology capabilities to position the region for global leadership
Improving awareness of the super-region as a leading innovation hub
